There are alot of things you can have a go at Sunderland for but the fans and their support is certainly not one.

Cheers for your permission. :emoticon-0105-wink:

It's probably a surprise to you, but in a conversation between football fans, it's just taken as read that Sunderland fans are renowned for leaving long before the end of the game.

As is the numbers they follow the club home and away. I doubt our record of 48k for a League One game will ever be beaten for a start.

Almost all fans leave early if their team is getting beat. God knows we have been beat more than most in the last 5 year or so

I seem to recall us having high numbers for some games in Division three. We managed to stay to the end on the whole though. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Was that at the start or the end of the game?

We could sit here and compare the support of our two clubs but it would be ridiculous :emoticon-0115-inlov

It is, and it still doesn't change the fact that you're widely renowned for, and it hasn't got you out of Division three yet..

When you have such a huge fan base whats a few leaving early.

I believe you lot are renowned for hating your owners and not being able to do owt about it

As do all your protests to get out the owners you despise.

Yep, it's left us above you in the same division. Pretty much shows how little value there is in the point you're trying to make. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Not really we got rid of our awful owner. One day you might get as lucky

You did it did you? Wow, that's impressive. I assumed it was something to do with business men and things like that.

What a strange argument, one which fans of one team can do nothing about and the other set of fans can... yeah we hate our owners but what more can we do? You lot could stay to the end but choose not to.

I'm beginning to suspect that the boring **** staying to the end, is a part of the reason so many others **** off early. Can you imagine ending up sat near him?
