Surprising how many ex players find a bond with the club and region after finishing playing. Meyler added to the list.
There is a reason it seems, when I asked the ex tigers who live in the area why Hull they all say that married local girls.
But then most loved their time in Hull as well.
Hardly anyone who stays a while in Hull slags it off, football players, rugby players, uni students, it exceeds their expectations.
