Think we are just coming to a stage when 20-30 year olds will open up, I hope if they are in trouble. in just over 12 months ago a friend had his dad take his own life, some people were just raised as men’s men and maybe saw it as a weakness. It’s not, they were sick and just couldn’t get what they needed. Both just great blokes/lads.

Nah i just said he's a Shouty ****. And he clearly is. I'm sure he's a nice enough bloke otherwise. And yeah ¹00% I'm happy, actually proud to admit that I don't just bow down to authority if it don't feel right to me. No one should.
Not really the point I was making. I was saying you effectively target them, it’s like an inferiority complex. You might not be like that in RL, but on here it looks that way.

Being woke is different from being weak. Woke to me is people who find themselves a niche or an opinion and cling to it with every bit of conviction they have, regardless of facts that stack up against their belief. Like people who think ‘white folk are all racist on some level’ because they don’t apologise for their ancestors behaviour. Woke people can get in the ****in bin like.
I ****ing loathe the current misuse of that word tbh. The origins of the word, make its use as a derogatory term (as it’s become for many it seems) even worse. It seems that if you show empathy, compassion or understanding then you’re somehow ‘woke’, well count me the **** in. It’s become the new ‘it’s PC gone mad!’ and whilst I’d agree that there’s some out there who are way too eager to take offence at literally anything (usually on someone else’s behalf like) that term needs lobbing in the ****ing bin in the context it’s being used by many in current discourse. *leaves the pulpit* *realises this is the ****ing match thread* Wales have been pretty gash first half like.
