I've not been watching it, just got back from a run. But that looks a very defensive team England have put out. I'm not surprised because...Southgate.

I've been saying it for months: all these people drooling over Foden, Grealish, Mount, Maddison etc seem to be forgetting that Southgate is picking the team.

He was always going to commit a foul in that situation. He may have got a touch on the ball but had to go through the defender to do it. And they way he slid in with studs up was potentially dangerous. Probably just a yellow in hindsight, but it wasn't a good challenge.
