I remember that night well. I was behind the goal in the Milton end so all it all happened the other end, though I had a great view of it as I was front row.

You are, of course referring to this:

Cracking goal and what a team!

Actually, come to think of it I may have been in the ‘boys box’ next to the family centre if they were still there? I think I graduated to lower down just to the left of the goal from about age 16 and in early ‘84 I was 14.

Problem is that I’ve seen that goal so many times on TV that my memory is mixed. I do remember it was live on BBC though

it wasn’t, I don’t think. The whole upper part of the Milton end was family centre then.

if you remember a view of that goal, I doubt you were front row of lower Milton as that would have been difficult to see the Archers end action.

    Apologies if posted before:

The FA are hoping to use the FA cup semi finals as trials for getting crowds back into stadia.
The are hoping for 20,000 at each game,BUT, none of the attendees will be fans of the clubs involved :(

What a kick in the teeth for the fans of the 4 teams involved, watch your team on the TV while 20,000 of the FA "family" have a jolly boys outing at Wembley.

Worse than there being no fans imo.

It's not 20,000 at each semi. It's 4,000 at one. Hence the no fans of each club.

It wouldn't be fair for 2 clubs to have fans and 2 not in the semi-finals.

In the true spirit of the game show Bullseye, they should invite fans of the losing Quarter Finalists, with the phrase “Let’s have a look at what you could have won”.

England offering a masterful demonstration of how to pass the ball a lot of times whilst achieving almost nothing

Lots of energy when we don’t have the ball and virtually none when we have it

And at last we do something as I write this
I hoped this would help but thought it might take longer

I've not been watching it, just got back from a run. But that looks a very defensive team England have put out. I'm not surprised because...Southgate.
