I spent the first few years of the KC in the West stand, the Premier League years in the North, and splashed out this year on a season ticket in the East (level with our dugout).
I'm personally not one to stand, shout and sing all the game, but if the game is good I will try my best to join in. My impression was that some fans try in the west but too many silent members of the prawn sandwich brigade leads to them stopping quickly, North was better for atmosphere as more 'proper' fans, but too close to the away fans and usually drowned out. For actually watching the game West beat the North as you would get a balanced view of the full game not just your end, so I would prefer West to North. East is by far the best as I can join if without feeling a tit, and still get a great view.
I doubt I would move back to the North unless paying for a season ticket became an issue.
Anyway, would the Police let the E1 and 2 fans be on the same block as the away fans - they wouldn't let the club sell any North stand tickets to home fans for the Leeds game.
