Wouldn't it be ironic if he plays for us in the play-off final and helps us win!!

It would be even more ironic if it was against you lot!!

Still time for you to recover, so long as you don't appoint Cotterill!! Who is the favourite by the way? O'Driscoll would do a good job, but I suppose Dave Jones will be fave.

Also, are you going to sell Maynard in January? We've got £500k to splash so what are the chances?

maybe if its dave jones he will deal for say Olifinjana ? not that i want Oli to go but if Oli wants to go then lets get someone else in. 2million + Olifinjana for Nicky Maynard seams fair to me.

Considering they rejected £6million for him from Leicester, I doubt they will accept that.

if they dont do something then they will get nothing when he walks away next summer. bristol city have a massive problem on there hands with Maynard now. maybe maynard has now chosen to see out his contract and discuss in january his own move next summer. lets face it he can negotiate a big signing on fee and wages as a free transfer.

the key imo is all down to who is the next manager there. dave jones is no fool and loves Olifinjana. so we shall have to watch, wait and see for now.

Think we should forget about Maynard

why ? never forget about quality no matter how distant it may be. as ive said from the start, dave jones being there new manager is the key. if not, then i expect maynard to see out ther season there and do his own thing from janaury when he is free to talk to who he likes.

Hope you're right, cannot see it though

They'll flog Maynard in January, it's obvious he wants out now and he'll still go for a lot more than we'll be prepared to pay.

Oli's on a wage that will be double anything anyone else is on at Brizzle, so that's not going to happen either, whoever takes over.

Not if he does not want to go in Jan they wont. If i were Maynard i would see it out to next summer. Then Negotiate my own deal. But as ive been saying it will be an interesting watch to see what happens.

Nobody here knows if NP would want or consider Maynard anyway. But if he did then who knows ?Best to watch - wait and see.
