Nah mate. Kinda glad he's gone for his own sake to be honest. Towards the end he was acting a bit out of character and taking things more personal, got quite snappy with some too, getting away is hopefully doing him some good. Not sure if anyone keeps in contact with him outside of the forum but it'd be nice to know if he's doing alright.
Dont worry yeself Im sure hes reading all this right now mate Dont worry hiag, you live on in the peoples hearts
Nice of @Welshie to pop into another one of my award winning threads As usual he was a bit late for the Bantz but that’s ok...for future reference pop in most days around 10pm onwards if you want to catch Diego getting rinsed
RIP Frank Worthington. From an era when football seemed something not to be taken seriously, pint and a *** at half time, spare time at the bookies. But man he could play. Alongside the likes of Alan Hudson, Stan Bowles, Rodney Marsh he was uncommitted lazy but got you out your seat regularly, even as an opponent.
Already refuted this the other week and it is why relying purely on stats is misleading. Doherty's win record is comprised from the EL, lower league opposition in the cups and generally speaking relegation candidates in the league. True, Aurier's win % this season is lower, but it includes the wins against United, City and Arsenal plus the draw away to Chelsea.
Which is why I keep raising it in response to this Grealish statistic which has no detail behind it so doesn't prove anything.
It does. With him in the team, they beat (hammered) Liverpool, Arsenal (twice), Leicester and drew away to Chelsea. Without him, they have won once and failed to beat Sheff Utd and Newcastle.
Grealish really is a quality player too, regardless of stats. Like others I never believed in the early hype but I watched a bunch of Villa games when Onomah was there on loan as I wanted to see how he was playing and it was then I noticed just how good Grealish was. Could tell he was miles too good for the Championship and it’s why I wanted him here (still do ), Poch would’ve been the perfect manager for him too. Who knows, we may still try and sign him, only this time he’s costing north of £50m when we could’ve got him for so much less
Steve Bruce didn't rate Grealish and wanted rid like er, that mans a millionaire from working in the football industry his entire life and he couldn't see what the average Brummy slapper could see from the stands.
Telling you mate it haunts me that we didn’t sign him. Bruce even gave an interview saying he expected Grealish to be sold and we still ****ed it up. Grealish also said that he thought he’d be a Spurs player. I don’t hate Levy as much as some other Spurs fans but I can never forgive that mistake, £3m plus Onomah was the biggest disrespect imaginable, almost as bad sacking Martin Jol at half time! Lol.
Loadsa ex managers and players doing this now. They’ve clearly pissed up their football fortunes and are getting desperate now
Would of been a massive signing for you guys for sure, I can't believe that Bruce was literally handing him over happily and you didn't snap his greasy piggy hands off. Shame Bruce isn't dead tbh, real shame.
****ing hell . Don’t know why you hate him anyway, bro. You’re Chelsea these days, Bruce should mean nothing to ya.
Mate, you can stop loving the wife that was murdered, but that doesn't mean you have to forgive the man who murdered her I've remarried anyway please log in to view this image
