And the harder we prepare for that luck, the more luck we will get.
We’ll still need a fair slice of actual luck though. Like, unearned but overdue good fortune. If you’re listening God?

He’s busy pissing people off on Twitter.

Just did £20 at 14-1.

I think I heard somewhere he has the best record against penalties of any Saints keeper of recent decades. Can’t remember where, sorry.I think Fraser has a pretty decent record for penalty saving, better than Macca's I believe.

I think Macca has also failed to ever save a penalty for Saints, not sure about his entire career.
That said, Macca barely ever saved a shot on target in his last 10 or so games either.
I know you're being flippant but I've seen Macca save one against the Toon last season, it's the only one that I can remember though.
I couldn't help thinking, as no doubt many others too, how ironic a situation for us yesterday. Either winning team would get yet more mentions of their past results (yes, those two results) ahead of, during and most likely after the game too. But what a fantastic prospect it must have been for Ralph in particular, the Final nail in that coffin carrying the comments from lazy, misinformed and frankly, biased pundits when he leads his team out in THE FINAL! You could not make this story up for justice to be served to which ever team we would meet in the semis. Regretfully the BBC will still be employing the most partisan of pundits when we play his team. I just have this feeling that we will well and truly lay this ghost of the past, once and for all!Glad we didn't get City, but Leicester are a very good side. Like being asked if you'd rather be shot or stabbed.
P.s. I still think on our day we can beat any team....let's hope the semifinal is our day.

They pretty much already did this after the drawTwo minutes before kick off on semi-final day:
“So here we are as Southampton face the team who beat them 9-0 last season; the team that has just knocked out the team who beat Southampton 9-0 this season. “
