It's the year I was born mate I was sent back to stop the t1 from killing John Connor but ended up staying after falling in love with SAFC.

It's me last 4 mate. I should have grown out of it has I have been out nearly a decade and I'm mid 30's but lack of imagination in user names means I still use it.

P.s me pin code is 0000

If 2 points per match is the automatic promotion standard, we still have some work to do: Peterborough -3, Hull -4, SAFC -6, Lincoln -9, Doncaster -10.

I said before the Portsmouth game, sod them we're better than they are ...

... same applies to any team Barton is involved with.

His presence doesn't make the players any better and we need to impose our superiority.
He does seem to have a knack of getting into our heads. No doubt all his press conferences between now and the game will be about us. Talk about how far we've fallen, how he's glad he played for Newcastle and not us, dig about how he's never lost to us as a manager and talk about the size of our playing budget and how his team pales into comparison etc etc

The usual ****e

Let's shut him the **** up with spanking 4-0 win

I don't think 2ppg is required this season. The league is very poor and even the team at the top have lost more than a quarter of their games

1st season down here, 2ppg got you up (just) but last season it was 1.77. The quality of the league is far lower this year. I reckon 87 will get you up - that's 9 wins from our last 13 games. Absolutely ****ing do-able

Barton would sacrifice staying in this league for a win against us. Fcuking horrible cnut, about time he was back in fcuking prison.

Oxford (h)

There will definitely be a surprise defeat in there. It always happens (Colchester under Keane, Reading under McCarthy, Ipswich under Reid) but as long as it's not to Hull or Peterborough we are good.

Looks like Hull are over their blip, so it's all about whether we can maintain our form and whether Peterborough can last the pace for once. I think Lincoln will continue to drop

Hull may be over their blip but any team that's lost 10 games can easily have another ...

... we've only lost 5 which, in my mind, makes us more resilient.

Losing almost a third of your games isn't great tbh.

Agree. Just highlights how poor this league is. We HAVE to get up this year. I couldn't take another year of **** teams, **** players and **** referees

Is the predictor still alive and kicking, or was that just for the prem.

We are a much better team now than those 5 losses anarl.
Was thinking about the "must win"
I suppose most are must wins, but this could be a defining important win, especially on the back of a cup final triumph.
As been said there is usually a shock loss, and given our current good form and stats against accy yet cup fever dazed, this could be it.
I still think we can get promotion even if we lose tonight but a win followed by another against Lincoln could see us Steamroller to the finish line.

LJ keeps mentioning momentum as he knows It's easier to win when you keep on winning.

Your players' confidence stays high and they believe in themselves and their team that little bit more with each game. Get a knock back and you have to start rebuilding that confidence. Draws don't do as much damage to team confidence as a defeat.

We have been the team most likely to make a balls-up for a fair few seasons, but LJ has brought a gutsy resilience to the team that has seen us able to come back after going a goal or two down, whereas previously we would have just rolled over.

Well tonight we should be back to our strongest back line so I don't see anything for us to be worried about.

I think you're right, Peterborough were poor last night against a team in a mess. They have injuries to important players whereas we have key positions coming back ...

... they've also had a settled regime for two years whereas we've been in turmoil. We've had a takeover, manager change etc, but we now have a great team spirit and momentum.

We're on our way.

It's important that we keep the pressure on the other 2 teams and they will crack. Let's not give them an easy ride. Six points this week will do for starters.
