Very helpful list of fixtures courtesy of Rick on twitter.

Just seen it on Twitter, I’ve given Sun’lan 92, Lincoln 83, Peterborough 81 & the Rest on 70’s.
I’m too biased to do ours, but a point v Sun’lan & Lincoln will put us there or there abouts come the title decision.

As short as 1/7 to be promoted says it's as good as nailed on. Knowing the unpredictability of this club over the years we all know things are never that straightforward.
Posters always say this but are we anymore unpredictable than any other middling club?
We’ve not blown lots of cup finals or promotion challenges have we?

5 straight wins is perfect timing and will ramp up the pressure on the chasing pack and demoralise them.

KEEP IT UP HAL.

Never mind all this ‘odds on promotion’ lark ...I’m pretty sure the last game made us mathematically certain to not get relegated?.

Anyway I’ve been celebrating that today (Jamesons and Heineken if your interested...separate glasses)

Assuming we can keep that PPG the same over the next 10 and Peterborough also keep theirs up we'll shade it by "0.5" points.

Fair play GMc

A\proper analysis would take account of declining points in the second half of the season- most promotion chasers start to flag and very few keep up the 2 points per game ratio after 46 games.

Vindicated.

More happy reading.

City average 1.71 points a game which historically is good enough to finish 5th.

Points per game table:
1st - Peterborough - 2.00
2nd - Lincoln - 1.97
3rd - Doncaster - 1.81
4th - Portsmouth - 1.76
5th - Sunderland - 1.72
6th - Hull City - 1.71
7th - Accrington - 1.64

Actual table:
1st - Peterborough - P29 - 58pts
2nd - Lincoln - P29 - 57pts
3rd - Hull City - P31 - 53pts
4th - Portsmouth - P29 - 51pts
5th - Sunderland - P29 - 50pts
6th - Doncaster - P27 - 49pts
7th - Accrington - P28 - 46pts

Looking back over the past 15 seasons this is what we need from out remaining 15 games to finish:
1st - 14 wins
2nd - 11 wins, 2 draws
Play-offs - 7 wins

in the end 11 (maybe 12 yet) wins and 3 draws was enough then.
