He's free to do what he wants, of course, but I find his reaction a bit strange.
He's not kneeling any more because nothing has changed? Was he expecting it to in such a short period of time because of some footballers kneeling?

Mans done the right thing, it should have ended with the end of last season.
Gestures like this are only effective as an impact thing, you keep doing it too long and it just becomes the norm. Now needs another way of highlighting the problem to keep it relevant.

Racism, in any meaningful sense of the word, is virtually non-existent in the UK

You made the assertion that any ‘meaningful’ racism is virtually non existent, so you should back it up.

    Crack on.

You on Meghan Markle: "I think "she" looks like a well-done Jar Jar Binks, actually"
You're just a racist who hangs on Saxton's arse, because he's another racist.

Interesting times ahead, in September, Championship club Queens Park Rangers said they'd stop doing it before matches because it wasn't bringing about change. QPR director of football, Les Ferdinand, said: "The message has been lost. It is now not dissimilar to a fancy hashtag or a nice pin badge."
Fellow Championship club, Brentford, have said their players will stop taking a knee before matches for similar reasons.

Striker, Ivan Toney, told Sky Sports that the gesture is allowing "people at the top" to rest on the subject and nothing has changed as a result.
England manager, Gareth Southgate despite seeing his team loudly booed has said that the gesture remains extremely powerful and has not lost its message. (knob) Other knobs like Lineker (BBC puppet) now Look at me Ferdinand has since licked Linekers arse with a similar outburst.
