You'll probably find men are attacked more, but I guarantee things like drunkeness and such contribute a lot to that. A lot of woman are attacked and don't report it too, quite common with rapes.

But, when I had a girlfriend in England and she was out with friends, I would be worried about her safety. Nutters are out there and its serious.

I understand Jess Phillips sentiment, but as always with Jess its quite often an extremely emotional response without the logic to support.
You’re spectacularly missing the ****ing point.

The difference is that men are attacked by other men, for numerous reasons, if it’s random it’s usually theft.

Woman being attacked by sexual predators i.e. men, is a completely different issue and there’s no equivalence whatsoever.

I've seen woman nut men tbh, but poison seems to be their special ability

No one was comparing crimes like for like. He purely asked if the rates would be higher with men. We said the exact same thing worded differently, what point am I missing.

No one is trying to say theres an equivalence between them. Least I'm not.

Yeah but this though;

Her point was obvious, that woman are dying at the hands of men with shocking regularity and bringing up men being attacked in the street is pure whataboutery.

I understand her point, it was obvious lol. But my point purely regarding Jess was, she's quick to rage in the commons, but her solutions are few and far between and she does my head in with it.

It's not a particularly deep point, nor does it represent how I feel on this issue. It was an observation on her as a politician.

A Green Party peer has suggested a 6pm curfew should be introduced for men in the wake of Sarah Everard's disappearance.

Baroness Jones of Moulescoomb told the House of Lords that such a move would "make women a lot safer, and discrimination of all kinds would be lessened".

She's just saying it to highlight things like the suggestion that women don't go out at night, which was made when Sarah Everard disappeared.
She doesn't actually think this should happen.
Really stupid messaging though, as she must've known how it would be reported. Dumb, dumb, dumb.
