this. I guess this is the right winger in me. I would understand some people have bad upbringings and this will shape what a person becomes and it is a tragedy. At the same time, even though i know it's not all of their fault that a person can create a heinous crime, that still doesn't negate the fact that they did and are a dangerous and troubled person and need to be incarcerated for the greater good of society.
ironically, i'm a sucker for the redemption story in films. It must be for the worst of crimes with regards to the above comment.
Totally understandable and I do agree mostly Bobby....there is no right or wrong way in thinking. So therefore should we look at *****philes who have been abused themselves as children, as also victims of their own circumstance and treat them instead of punishing them ? Personally I’d find it very hard to do, however logic tells me that would be a better approach than just locking them up. Of course some are just born evil, the psychopaths of this world, and no matter what these kind cannot be helped, as sad as it is. Interesting debate......
The area in the newspapers is the Poynders Gardens Estate, a pre-war council estate which one of my old golfing partners lived in. The 'nice' bit is towards the Common, go the other way and there's some really rough council flats full of druggie lowlife. Like much of London you can have highly desirable areas very close to absolute shyteholes. Gentrification is working through it but very slowly. She would have been walking towards the less desirable area but on the South Circular which is open and well lit along that stretch. I doubt she would have thought it dangerous at that time...
When I did the Knowledge I always found it strange how you could be in an area with x million pound mansions in one minute...and the next be in the poorest of crime ridden areas
Ffs @bobmid was in charge of invites to the ‘love in’ you’re definitely invited but keep it to yourself as someone is not. We don’t want a gatecrasher.
That cop has now been charged with suspicion of murder. First arrest last night was kidnap and further arrest today suspicion of murder. Not good.
I think I read something about indecent exposure too somewhere. Sounds like the guy was out of control, and lost normal cautionary behaviour
I thought that indecent exposure charge was a bit weird. You maybe right on him losing it. The mail has already posted his picture and stuff about him.
But that’s the thing though Goldie .....we don’t know that and everything from us on here is pure speculation....unless of course Ellers knows him
