An excellent result with many positives:
- adventurous team selection
- good team performance
- excellent very sharp passing
- good pressing
- two quick goals scored
- ability to control the game
- a clean sheet
- three points
- an away win

Well done to the R’s!

Have a great weekend!

De Wijs very strong, a real physical presence who relishes getting stuck in. Probably subbed due to match fitness but we looked far more vulnerable after he departed.
Field looked like the perfect partner for Johansson in midfield. Plenty of effort, good challenges. Didn't really see much of him from a distribution viewpoint though.
Willock was very mobile but not convinced about him to be honest. Prefer Dykes who I am still sure will come good when he gets that confidence boosting goal.

De Wijs did well, but it looked to me like he pulled up a bit after sprinting to win a ball, held the back of his leg, then signalled he had to come off. Hopefully he just felt something and they got him off quick as a precaution.

Disagree about Willock who looks both strong and skillful. I also like how he will travel with the ball. Not enough players seem to do that these days. It is one of Ezes strengths as well.

Was Cameron dropped or injured? I really hope we can get rid of him as soon as possible. I've been saying since beginning of last season his legs have gone

But his distribution can be good and, at times very good.
I concur, if you can no longer run 60 yards with the ball, but have the ability to pass the ball that same 60 yards and achieve the same result then you still have something to give and if that something brings a goal or a chance it’s worth persevering with.
