Match Preview;
Looking at both teams last six games, QPR won 3, then drew 1, and have lost the last 2, whereas Bristol City lost 3, then won 2, then won their last game. This leaves Bristol City 12th, so 5 places and 5 points above us. Their top scorer is Famara Diédhiou, on 10 goals, closely followed by Nahki Wells, with 9 goals. In contrast...we don't have anyone with more than 5 goals...albeit Chair, Dykes and Austin all have 5.
Thanks to our decent run a few games ago, my fears of being sucked into a relegation scrap have been eased but not completely eradicated, and we are too far from the top to get excited about that now. Another couple of wins, and I'll begin to accept a comfortable mid-table position.
Team News;
QPR: Luke Amos and Charlie Owens are sidelined with long-term knee injuries. Whilst Jordy de Wijs is edging closer to full fitness.
Bristol City: Chris Martin is out, Nathan Baker, Callum O’Dowda, Liam Walsh and Marley Watkins remain doubts.
