Who else forgot we still have Arbenit Xhemajli on our books?
It'd completely slipped my mind that we still had him. He looked pretty decent in the little I did see of him, and being a Kosovan international he obviously has something about him that could be a bonus for next season.

Another plus point is that he's a Left footer. Thats something we lack in in Defence which is the only reason i can think of in why Flanagan gets so much game time when he's fit, so that it balances things out abit along the Centre backs.

I ain't forgotten about him, Tees. He looked like a quality CB who can play out from defense and fit into a 3 or 4 at the back formation.

I hadn't forgotten about him, as it was stated at the time of his injury that he was out for the rest of the season, like the others who have seen him play I look forward to his complete recovery, and hope he is back in time for the start of next season. Hopefully at another level, as he looks like he could handle it no bother to me, but only time will tell.

You always seem to manage a cracking little story or two Tees. just wish more people would contribute, but just to let you know that they are appreciated, especially by the overseas fans

It’s a real pity with the lad.
The bits and pieces of him he looked very assured, bit of pace, read the game well and attacked the ball well in both boxes.
Hope he makes a full recovery. It’s very possible that he could make the step up with us if we got promoted.

Thought this was a thread about the return of Kimpioka...

I was gutted for the lad and still am ...

... what a miserable way to spend such a terrible year.

I was wondering - does anyone know if he at least got to get home to his family during this whole period? Or has he been stuck in a new country re-habbing an injury with nothing to do?

Pandemic has been awful for a lot of people and a lot worse for many obviously, but what awful luck for the guy.
