Dollar bills.

Plus the challenge. He’s got a big enough ego to be tempted.

Think Leicester could match what we'll be paying tbh...they'll have CL money.
Also think that taking over at spurs as Kane/Son are about to leave along with Reguilón and having to keep dross like Dier, Sanchez, Aurier etc would be career suicide

Kind of wasn't Celtic's fault what happened to Rangers, but yeah it totally killed any competition in that league.

Seem to remember Celtic had some decent CL runs though when Brenda was there.
Not saying the fella didn’t do a good job, just that it’s a noddy league.

Having seen them school us on Weds, they’re absolutely on fire at the minute mate. I think the goal we scored was the first they’d conceded from open play in about 10 league games ffs. Ridiculous.

Bro Arsenal are getting gaped so badly that you’ll be able to see the back of Lego Head’s teeth.

Big club, shame about the league.

He was there when it was a one club league as well, as opposed to a 2 club one that it’s been for decades,

Oh I completely agree ... but if he's so 'ambitious' then going to a Spurs or Arsenal currently would be incredibly stupid ... what realistic chance either got of beating the Manc's, Pool or Chelsea to a title? ... he'd just be attempting to replicate what he's doing for us but with much more pressure...

Could see him leaving for one of the Manchester jobs, if offered, for sure...

Arsenal vs Spurs is the most meh derby going imo. Never got it, it’s like a bunch of Glenns and Simons saying they’ll bloody down a pint of cider if they lose.

The football is usually decent like, which is more than I can say for our 0-0 neighbours.

Already been mentioned, but other team's rivalries always seem a bit meh to fans on the outside. Same with yours and Liverpool, it doesn't mean anything as much to us as it does to you.

But yeah, the NLD has thrown up some absolute belters. 5-4, two 5-2's and a 5-1 to them, but that was a Mickey mouse cup and we were playing our reserves <whistle>

Nah, I can appreciate the North East derby for example, it’s fierce. Everton vs Liverpool as well to some extent, the emotion is raw. Lincoln vs Grimsby, all out war.

I just get the impression that Arsenal/Spurs fans in London get over derby defeats by going for seared scallops.

They probably do these days.

Can't speak for others, but the NLD will always be the biggest games of the season for us.

Our rivalry with you came close in the 2000's when we were going ding dong for the league with each other, but even then the NLD was still massive and Spurs were truly ****ing **** back then.

They held a minute’s silence for the anniversary of a welsh mining disaster during which the Chester fans started singing about some Wrexham fan who had just died. Kicked off all game despite there being more police than away fans.

First derby I went to was a league cup tie and the skates ruined a minutes silence for one of our legends. ****s.
