For me it's Blackadder by a long, long way. Fawlty Towers somewhere in second place and then further down in 3rd is probably Peep Show. Never really found many comedy shows all that funny but UK comedy (when done properly) I much prefer to US comedy. Though the early seasons of Frasier and The Simpsons were hilarious.

WHAT?! NO PEEP SHOW?!?! <--- Ignore lunacy.

    I voted Inbetweeners anyways.

Has anybody watched Fresh Meat on channel 4 yet? I find it very relatable. It's hilarious, like an Inbetweeners spin off in that it features Joe Thomas from the show (but as a different character) who has gone to university- kinda clever as that is 'why' the Inbetweeners had to end. Anyways, I saw the first episode before I started my placement out here in France and haven't been able to catch up since!

Can't get away with that Fresh Meat like, its not really funny in my opinion. Jack Whitehall's character is funny but apart from that its a bit dull. Expected better, especially considering Robert Webb is in it. Some tidy birds pop up every now and then tho <ok>

    :O Fawlty Towers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Rising Damp
The rise and fall of Reginald Perrin
    One Foot In The Grave
    Harry Enfield and Chums
    The Two Ronnies
    Open All Hours
    Allo Allo
    Monty Python's stuff
    Red Dwarf

There's just far too many! For me though it has to be Fawlty Towers

    Edit -

    Porridge
    Black Adder
    Mr Bean
Last Of The Summer Wine (can't stand it, but it was very popualar for a long time)
    Are You Being Served (uuuugh)
    On The Buses
    Carry On...

I'll keep editing as I think of more. That Mrs Brown's Boys is good, but should be watched from the first episode I think because you can see how the style developes.

    PEEP SHOW!!

I've been watching it, it's a bit hit and miss. I was expecting great things given who wrote it and some of the people in it, it's not quite delivered for me yet though.

I absolutely love 'Open All Hours', quite possibly my favourite British comedy of all time. Ronnie Barker was an absolute genius.
