Claridge for me every time. Firstly his commentary on the highlights of our JPT win that had him painfully reporting that we were playing really well and he did it with a total lack of emotion. Secondly for that 'LOOK' he gives every time he is introduced by Manish on the FL show. Could he look any more miserable?

Matt Le Tisser is a Saints legend so I can't really have any gripe with him, I can just about stand Jamie Redknapp aswell - but all of the others in the list annoy me no end!
I agree with the above poster's comments on Claridge aswell, he's a miserable sod and he's a skate - so it's a double whammy!

I have always hated Gary Neville but I hate him more since his transition to pundit as he actually talks more sense then most and that annoys me.

Thats the thing with GNev, he is actually (suprisingly to me a UTD fan) quite good. I have only seen him commentate a couple of times on UTD games and he was very matter of fact and honest. J redknapp kept cutting him up though
Precisely, I was expecting to see him looking smug and bragging about Manure after the Arsenal game but he was very honest and stated that it was a very poor Arsenal side and even called the Manure defending lazy.
Jamie Redknapp is a clueless ****. Don't give a **** that he once played for Saints, he played badly for us and allegedly him and his mates made loads of money betting on Harry going from Saints to Pompey.
Putting aside his SFC history, he's won naff all and looks a complete prick when alongside people like Souness & Guillet, who have won **** loads and managed teams too (albeit quite ****ly). Redknapp is only there "to attract the ladies" although I don't even think he does that.

OK, what Jen was saying was the traditional rivalry between teams, not actual hatred.
I'm probably the worst person on the planet to make a stab at why rival fans don't like or hate ManU, because basically, clubs apart from Southampton FC don't even register on my radar. ManU, like others, may have a tremendous history, but as far as I am concerned, they exist merely to play Saints one day. That's how uninterested I am in other clubs. So I don't dislike ManU, because I can't summon up enough energy to do so. Unfortunately, I'm constantly reminded of the existence of ManU [and other clubs] by a clamouring media, and the fact that I actually have to make an effort to shut it out occasionally annoys the hell out of me. Everywhere I turn, there is ManU [and others, of course], when all I want to see or hear about is my club.
But please don't consider yourself picked on. I have the same problem with any club that gets more than its fair share of exposure, be they Arsenal, Chelsea, etc... Hopefully, I have made my point clear. As I said, I'm probably not the best person to make an appraisal on the subject.
Agreed his interviews are painful to watch as he try's to look intelligent and then asks the least interesting and incisive questions ever.
On the Sky front it's got to be Merson as other have said, total muppet, is only there because he is "one of the boys"
You don't like us Jen, but you're not alone there. Loads of random clubs have problems with United, but we don't give a flying **** about them (West Ham, Stoke, Bolton, yourselves). People who call us Manure and seem to have an irrational hatred of us, despite often being based hundreds of miles away and having no real reason to dislike us (apart from jealousy). It's sad really.
Claridge by a long margin. Never gave QPR credit for anything last season, couldn't pronounce players names, dug out our "dodgy" defence despite a record breaking number of clean sheets and thought we weren't even good enough to make the play-offs. We all assumed he didn't like us as we are one of the few teams he'd never played for!! And he reckoned Carlos Tevez was treated harshly during SubGate. Total c*ckjockey.
