Yeah, I was wondering with the buyout.

Performance: To be fair to them though mate, you did say yourself the place was falling apart, and you were having to work your bolloxs off. Lot's of lazy shhites was the impression I got, while you get left with all the graft.

There’s your answer then mate. Agency rates will obvs cost more than staff, so the cost per picked item or however they calculate the depot efficiency will have gone the wrong way and the only way to bring it down, is to flog the horse harder. Sign of piss week management imo, as the depot management should have been able to justify the increased cost, in a ****ing pandemic.

Yeah I know mate, you’d think that a sense of perspective would come into play, but unfortunately in these corporate giants it just doesn’t. Each cog in the machine has to deliver its KPI’s or they’ll get jumped on by the HO. I worked in a big PLC for a long while, and the reason I binned it clean off was due to their constant pressure to deliver more profit from less capital employed year after year, to keep the shareholders happy. The **** comes down the chain until the people at the sharp end actually delivering the profits get kicked to improve efficiency or have their pay plans altered to make it harder to earn bonuses etc etc. Sucks ****ing dick mate.

Yeah the Good Law Project had been brushed off and told that disclosure wasn’t in the public interest. Big mistake.

There’ll now be numerous challenges over specific contracts issued and there’ll be some extremely embarrassing moments as the detail emerges.

It’s an amazing effort from them and the bloke who does all the work. Forgotten his name now. He’s up against a legal team with essentially unlimited funds. Another £200k of taxpayers’ money spunked on this I believe.
