Was hoping Elbows Carroll would dunch a few Chelsea players tonight. Abraham bit the dust, but Gironde is the one who always scores against us.
It is odd seeing this post because I was thinking about this over the weekend and wondered myself how certain Klopp's future was at Liverpool. In the short term, I cannot see him leaving but I have been wondering if they start the 21/22 season in a poor fashion, how much patience the board will have with him. I have never seen Klopp steering Liverpool to the kind of repeated success of SAF. They have had two terrific seasons, the first where they would ordinarily have won the PL had it not been for tor brilliance of Man City. He has been a revelation at a club which has largely under-achieved domestically for the best part of 30 years. This season has been an erratic one for most teams and he has lost VVD who has been an inspirational talisman for them.
At the moment, I see Klopp's success akin to what Leicester City achieved. Last season the league was particularly weak and City were ;largely out of sorts. Other contenders like Arsenal and Manu Utd were restructuring. I think Liverpool needed to win in 20/21 if they were every going to do it. It was their best chance. I don't see 21/22 offering similar opportunities and it would be a brave many who put money on them regaining the title next season. If they get off to a poor start, I do not think a parting of ways between Klopp and Liverpool would be unlikely, especially if they fail to make the cut this season for the Champion's League. Should Liverpool be off the pace by Christmas, you wonder how sentimental the Liverpool board might be. I think Klopp needs to re-build in the summer if he wants to make a serious challenge.

If you were playing & got the ball, surely you’d bang it at the passenger carriages hoping to get it thro a window (especially if you were losing).
He was going to be back sooner rather than later. They'll probably stick him on a Saints game at some point.
If a referee isn't demoted to a lower standard after two red cards of his were overturned, despite him re-watching both repeatedly, then is there any wonder that the standard of officiating is so poor?
I actually think we won't see him at one of ours this season.
They don't normally get demoted they get dropped for a week or two. The PGMOL said he was "due a break" before he received the death threats so they were planning on dropping him for a week.
I think he's tried to change the narrative away from his shocking officiating to the death threats, and it's worked.
Wish I worked in a job where you got some paid time off for poor performance. Again, says it all about why the standard is so bad.
They should get demoted. The problem is they don't
It does occasionally. Trouble is the Football League get pissed off if it happens too much.
