In the grand scheme of things Wednesday wouldn't normally matter that much but I think it's important to win to create confidence and a winning mentality. With that we would become more consistent in the league too so I actually think its huge on Wednesday
I suppose the chance to play at Wembley ( if we go through) would be a good incentive for our players to make sure they stay around the first team for the remainder of the season, so in that sense its a good thing, lets just hope we get there without any more injuries , the league campaign is the only important thing.

I'll enjoy Wednesday, a night watching the match without my face screwed up and my shoulders higher than my ears.

Plus I'd love to see us go to Wembley and just enjoy ourselves ...

... would be great for the young lads.

Diamond and O'Brien will replace the two main men from yesterday imo ...

... Johnson has had dreadful luck with injuries and won't take chances.

Lincoln won't risk too many of their's either.
Good opportunity for the squad to get some playing time, the King could do with a run out

Strange one this wouldn't like to be in LJs shoes selection wise.
You can smell a Wembley final, so do you put the kids in or risk injury to some of our seniors, pleased it's not me picking the team.
However another big win builds confidence and adds momentum after yesterday.

The best thing for me is the game straight after ...

... win on Wednesday and we build the confidence, lose to Lincoln and we'll want a reaction.

I'd prefer a win, especially if the likes of O'Brien and Matthews have good games.

Not sure it’d add any more games to the current season anyway. Final likely to be played at the end. We’re already in a queue <laugh>

Let’s get a win, a trip to Wembley in the bank and some momentum and confidence

It's a tricky one - win and it's only 1 extra game onto the season so shouldn't make that much of a difference, but you don't want to risk your best players getting injured (losing McGeady really cost us in the play off season). On the flip side, we don't have that many options with injuries and players being cup tied.

I'd go with:

Burge
McLaughlin Younger Wright McFadzean
Scowen Power O'Nien
Gooch Wyke Jones

Subs: Matthews, Vokins, Leadbitter, Neil, McGeady, O'Brien, Diamond

Hopefully pull Wyke off at half time with the job done
