The socially acceptable conditions made it possible for him to offer information to money making, often law breaking enterprises, for financial reward. Certainly screwed up family relationships. The media/press were catalysts.

What has Canada to do with the price of bread? (Other than Canada's legal system is essentially based on British law).
Who paid him? Who did his daughter sue? What was the (intermediary) court decision?

If any member of my family wrote to me on a personal level, or sent me an email, made a telephone call, sat and had a chat or communication what ever would I sell that to the press? Would you?

This wasn't some third party selling info on, it was her Farther, her blood, how the **** could he do that to her. No one deserves that, no one.

Personally, I don't like her. I don't like her type (if that makes sense). It not a male or female thing, just the type of person is appears to be, doesn't impress me or make me warm to her. But, I do admire her for the messages she gives to a part of society.

Maybe he wanted to show that the letter didn't contain what his lying, duplicitous cow of a daughter , who had cut him out of her life after he had paid for her to go to uni and wangled her into her first job, claimed it did?

I really can't believe your trying to justify what her "father" did and blame anyone but him. Maybe you would chuck your family under the bus just because someone offered you some money to do so, but the vast majority of people have a better moral compass.

She is a self-serving cow who we wouldn't even be aware of if she hadn't snared a less than bright Prince. She is an utter hypocrite lecturing on the need for us all to save the planet whilst she carries on in luxury responsible for a larger carbon footprint than a small town. A bit like Bono and others who I can't abide either.
