Apart from their finishing Wolves looked to be coming back to form, it will depend on what sort of team they put out whether we can match them.

Indeed. But key for me in that post are the words “coming back to form”.

That’s what always happens. And there’s no reason that it shouldn’t start to happen to us on Thursday too.

0-11 away win.

I was going for an interview with a company in Slough a few years ago. Never been before, and didnt take up their offer of a 2nd interview.
With due respect to any from Slough, I worked there for 3 years and regret to admit, alongside John Betjeman the best view was in the rear view mirror. Met some lovely people there but as a place to remember, well........

Slough is made up of two parishes one of which is Upton cum Chalvey. If they had have adopted that name rather than Slough they may have had a better image and therefore a better press.

As a Berkshire lad I was disgusted when we ended up with Slough and Oxford had all of north west Berkshire. which included the White Horse, as part of the Maude Commission Report.

Which part were you <whistle>
I was the whole bloody animal! It was an outdoor production in a field, and not only did I have to speak with a completely over the top Black Country accent, I had to tow a genuine gypsy caravan about 20 yards, and carry Toad on my back right the way round the field. He was not a small person, either!
