Doubt it will happen, so not worth debating. McGregorface says nothing is happening today
Doesn't look like we are signing a left back either, which if true is utter madness, worth debating?

Because they are totally different types of striker.
I suspect Holden wants a striker who can actually hold the ball up, to help to take pressure off of a failing midfield and Warnock probably wants to go more direct.
Is the window for loans still open?
Drat. That really is it then. This is what I found:- In total, they will have 31 days to seal permanent transfers and loan arrangements, to and from fellow clubs. When does it close? The window slams shut on Monday, February 1, 2021.
So it would appear not.
Nothing has changed, we are still being treated like mushrooms, kept in the dark and covered in bullshit, ah well we did sign another but older midfield player, so lets be thankful for small mercies, I will carry on being a fungui. (ha ha)

Don't be sorry mate, you are entitled to express your thinking about LJ.And there was I thinking that once LJ had gone it would all be sweetness and light at BS3 - after all he was the reason for all the bullshit, poor signings and 'stuttering' performances ......
(Sorry Wiz - couldn't help myself - I've taken a tablet now so it won't happen again - today)
I couldn't believe we offered Massengo, LJ's £7.5m star buy to Birmingham in a swap yesterday, they told us to do one, Massengo must be concerned when he heard we tried to move him on.

I fully agree, I see today that they are trying to down play this as a loan swap but the original article does not mention this.
The question should be why leave this yet another attempt of desperation right up until the last minute anyway?
I understand our proximity to the play off picture, but I am fed up with being told how important certain players are and how good they are but some have been with us for around 4 years now, Paterson, ODowda and Diedhiou for a start and add to that Hunt, Rowe, Massengo, Mariappa, Adelakum, Watkins add to that the injury problems of Baker and I would also argue Nagy falls into this category as well.
I repeat the club is in disarray.

Don't turn him into a defensive midfielder-let him do his stuff.
When did we have this type of player on our books in midfield.
