I'll be honest I couldn't give a rats ass about interviews. I've never understood why people get so hung up on them. Completely meaningless bar when SAF got in the likes of Keegans, Wengers, Rafas head. Aside from that I've listened to Bobby Robson, Keegan, Rafa, SAF, Klopp, Jose, Pep (one of the worst), Allardyce, you name it. They all talk utter ****e most of the time and all have some hugely embarrassing interviews. Obviously the Keegan "I would love it" and Rafa "Facts" are two classic cases of a manager losing the plot, and they are the ones to worry about when your manager is biting. I wouldn't worry about managers being defensive in interviews or whining about things being stacked up against them, blaming injuries, giving weird views of games. This is standard fare and happens every single week. I'll never forget when Pep was struggling a bit early doors, what a little bitch he turned into. Half the interviews didn't even make sense, and you got the impression he'd been watching another game on his phone or something - certainly not the one you'd been watching!
They are always worse when under the pump.
FFS Allardyce was going on about the Cube and using your simplify the other day man
Personally I think our fans could do with getting a grip in this regard. However the concerns of how we've approached this season prior to Everton, the fans are 100% right to question him on that.
