my view is if we can afford to keep him with the players we've got, we might as well, if we aren't going to replace him.
If it's a case of him going out and nobody new coming in, it feels pointless
If he were to go out I'd replace with a RB or GK. But I'd be beyond shocked if we signed anyone today

Had a look at Bristol City under 21 players a while back and this guy stood out. Was coming on as sub at the time, so thought it was pie in the sky. He still makes their bench.
Massengo has played for Monaco against PSG and in the Champions League, as well as in the championship this season. Suffice to say he's probably a decent addition if true.
Johnson signed him from Monaco for £7.2m ffs, then played him 25 times in the championship last year. If he can get him on loan in league 1 a year later that's pretty mental.
I mean, if this is true I am blown away. He's basically an energetic defensive midfielder....

Leeds looked a very good side tbf. Plus a couple of their first teamers played and we had a couple of trialists playing.

Apparently the "source" of this rumour is the person who revealed our signings of Semenyo and Wright last year before anyone else... so...
