I think tech should be limited to goal line and offside.

And players should only be offside if their feet are in an offside position, not a finger or a nose.
Maybe use their nose if they actually score with it or use it to control the ball.
Danny Ings' shirt sleeve may have been just beyond the defenders arse, but he didn't score with his arm and it's unlikely that he would do.
Seems unnecessary to include it, really. Not in the spirit of the game, for me.

The main problem is the quality of the officials, though. They're ****. Too many Northerners, too.
I'd approach the racial disparity, but I'm sure we all know what side of that argument you'd come down on.

- The people running VAR should be a completely different entity to those who officiate on the pitch.

If you’re not going to use referees then who? Ex pros?

I’ve heard Thommo, Le Tiss & Champagne Charlie haven’t got much on at the mo, they’d be perfect.

Perhaps ex pros, or young players who have been forced to retire through injury or not made it.

Anything is better than them being the same people as there's vested interests. Dean who was on VAR last night is the ref for our match at United on Tuesday which is mental.

I got so wound up with the Firmino handball against Spurs. To start with how far back are we going to go? Must have been 7 passes after the incident and then the ref ignores the foul and the handball from Diet (intentional) and hasn't got the brains to look at the whole incident and goes with the handball.

Rugby use it so much better ... there are reasons for that ... which start and end with 'intelligence'...

Yeah I can see referees being sound with being told they’d made a howler by some crocked CB from Scunthorpe.

‘I think you should view the monitor’

Views monitor

‘No i was right”

Guaranteed to work that like.
