Honestly, this could be a smart piece of business: everyone else will be dogpiling around Dayot Upamecano, so we simply look to his CB partner who isn't getting the interest and sign him with far less hassle
And it has to be said, this is also somewhat financially smarter: both are out of contract in the summer of 2023, but Upamecano signed an extension last year while Konate's last contract extension was in 2019, and on top of that Konate has a €30m release clause which is active this summer, and given he's also got height (he's 6'4", while Upamecano is 6'1") and just so happens to share an agent with Ben Davies, Joe Rodon and Gareth Bale, this could be a smart move
Oh, and mean Eric Dier gets moved to RB or something

Looks like Rose’s move to Trabzon is in danger of collapsing due to the covid regulations of people from UK to Turkey (7 day quarantine ) and I presume Trabzon aren’t cool with it. Doesn’t sound like it’s completely dead but now unlikely more so than likely.
Wasn't he supposed to be signing a 3½ year contract? Can't see that being blocked because of a delay of a week.
Translation: Not being allowed to send scouts to the UK, Trabzon were reliant on a highlights video sent to them by Levy. They just clocked that the digital stamp on the video was 2017.
