Hi Chazz and all just realised who the Gordon you were talking about was , very sad . He played in our team for a few years , fantastic feet and dribbling skills even on muddy park pitches . He was good to me when we’d got promotion to a higher division than I expected us to-get to and I remember saying I thought I couldn’t hack it at the next level and Gordon persuaded me I could , and did up a couple more divisions . Sadly he left for another club then but what a good player and a great bloke
Really sad just let a few of my team mates know who also knew him all feel the same - sad loss

RIP my dad.

So after going through a year of lockdown which included care workers visiting 3 times a day ( mainly for my mam ) when she died a month ago social services decided my dad couldn't live alone so after a negative covid test he went to a temporary care home until a permanent place could be found. He went down so fast he ended up in HRI dehydrated, malnourished and covid positive. After IV fluids he picked up a bit but gave up the fight last night.

So sorry for your two tragic losses in a month Balkan. RIP your dear Mam and Dad - now they are together again and free of pain. God bless.
