Think we'd have been up against the likes of Aberdeen and the SPL at end of season. So he probably knew it was now for 300k or never.

we have seen (and suffered) from strikers based mainly on 'strike rate'...and we have also seen (SKP) how just hitting the right combo of players can reap dividends from an 'unknown', maybe this more analytical approach is more inclined to match players attributes across the pitch and we wont really know what to expect until they all click...i think i prefer it this way.

Got some info on Jones from a ST holder at Rangers who’s a good mate of mine.
Said Jones is a good footballer and is unplayable on his day, but he’s found himself out of the team because of off the field activities. He’s a bit of a LAD and had broken COVID rules by being reported at a house party. He’s also been done for drink driving.
My pal says Gerrard has lost patience with him, but maybe moving from Glasgow and his pals might be the making of him.
Looks like LJ might have to get his head straight!! But my mate says we have signed a quality player, and reckons it’s a good move for us and the player, though it could end in tears.
