We've been like this for a while now. I can only think they've been trained this way - not to resort to desperate balls into the box but to be patient and just keep probing. It is frustrating with seconds to go though.
Speaking of which, seemed like about a minute or more was lost in stoppages after the 4 mins were put up, but I don't think anything much was added?
Well i actually thought we were better , going forward anyway , than our recent games but we still lost.

Rhys Williams is not good enough. We can’t go on like this, Klopp clearly wants a new CB but Fenway do not. They can kiss goodbye to the rest of the season if we don’t bring one in this window.
He's been thrown in at the deep end out of necessity and he's not ready for it, imo.
He doesn't have much pace, and he hasn't the maturity yet to compensate for that. Our style doesn't help him in that respect either. If we had a full complement of defenders he'd be nowhere near the first team just yet.
I hope the baptism of fire doesn't undermine his confidence for the future.

Klopp has really baffled me and many other fans. When we were 2-2 and well on top with their defence at sixes and sevens he removed Thiago and Firmino. These 2 had taken hold of the game after a tentative start and there is no doubt in my mind we would gone on to win it. When these were subbed, our game and edge disappeared and they seemed uplifted. We never regained our composure and our dominance after that. The die was cast,

The only mistakes he made were diving in trying to account for that lack of pace, something he'll overcome with experience.
