seems to be a wee bit of a 'trend' this complete slaggy/pisshead/be as disgusting as you can type persona (started by a certain talentless female called jordan)...i cant stand these media whores mind, what happened to having to make your name working the pubs and clubs of the north by sheer hard work?

I don't want to watch ordinary people on TV.

It's absolutely surreal when you see trailers of ordinary people on Gogglebox critiquing other ordinary people on Big Brother who are copying other ordinary people they've seen on Love Island.

I want to be humbled and awed by people who are talented, funnier, more entertaining or cleverer than wot I am.

I don't see the attraction of watching people I look down on ...

... it's like the Victorians going to mental hospitals to see the loonies.

Isn't that the attraction of the Apprentice?

Isn't that the attraction of the Apprentice?

Every one of those TV shows is exactly the same mate, just a popularity contest.

No one who watches Bake Off gives a shiney shyte about cakes ...

... no one who watches Strictly would cross the street to watch people dance in reality.

If they had any of these things on at the welfare they'd get booed off <laugh>

(Slight exaggeration but you get the picture!)

i rarely actually see any of them but hear plenty about them (maybe if i watched more tv i would know who most of them are) but i hear them, my bro in law who is severely disabled and lives with us has his room the other side of the kitchen and he loves watching them...when did 'howling and screaming like a banshee' replace applause...i am positive if someone howls loud enough after every single act they get hired for the next celeb special to be part of the crowd and once you hear it, you hear it on all those live audience shows.

so you may well be partly correct to include the loonies, except they are now the crowd!!

I only ever see the trailers tbh ...

... it all looks a bit sad and forced.

"The tension here is incredible, the celebrity origami folder, who's safe this week, is ....

... * insert the name of a 'celebrity' no-one has ever heard of or had totally forgotten about * !!!" <doh>

Anybody listened to BBC Radio 4's spoof series on competition "The Republicans" real current and very funny, good soundtrack to boot if you like Sinatra..

Could tell some stories about Charlotte. Mate was shagging her back in the day. She used to work in tonnic and gave us free drink for a good while. Amazed she has turned out to be a multi millionaire. Thick as mince , loved being around lads.
I thought making money from sucking cock was called prostitution

Aye. The masked singer is one I hate. "Celebrities" in masks singing and you have to try and work out who it is. My missus watches ****e like that. Most of the time they eventually take the mask off, all is revealed, their name flashes up... and I've still got no idea who the **** they are.

I'll occasionally catch a glimpse of some celebrity as Mrs Smug is watching and I'm on my laptop.

I'll Google their 'hilariously altered' name like Will-I-Am, chortle chortle, and find they're bloggers or 'influencers'.

It's shyte, absolute shyte.
