Lots of reasons to have a pop at the government at the minute, but they are certainly doing the biz on numbers getting the jab.
The wife works at a hospital. At around 4 each day there is usually a phone call basically saying, we have x amount of jabs left over, first come first served. Very happy with the way they are doing it.
Also can’t get the Oxford jab at her place. The chief exec opted out as he thought it was daft, as they have the facilities to keep the Pfizer one at correct temps etc.

imo the best thing that this Govt has done throughout this whole thing was the mass pre ordering of Vaccines that looked promising even if they may not actually have worked which is why we are in a better position than many countries as we are not scrambling around trying to place orders in competition with others . May have been expensive but it was money very well spent <applause>

I would agree, quite simply because I'm not a gambling person, so when I was aware of all the various orders, I thought wtf? But it turns out to have been a positive in all this crisis, beyond my own expectations, purely because someone went nuts with the ordering system.

i would guess it was no where near full payment just an option payment which then guaranteed the requested amount of jabs but i may be chatting **** tbh <laugh>
