Don’t know anything about the lad, got to be honest I hadn’t heard of him 72 hours ago. Surely though he can’t be any worse than the pedestrian crap we’ve got in the midfield at the moment. Get him straight in the first team in place of Power, Scowen or Leadbitter for the Wimbledon game.

Johnson won't have brought him in to pad out the squad, we already have enough midfield players.

Johnson will already know where he's playing Winchester and they'll be bringing that into training sessions.

I think outgoings will be as important as incomings in this window. After hearing Winchester, and his previous supporters and club, I have a good feeling about this.

Surely he will replace Power

Max Power's style of play is not diving into tackles, talk about damning with faint praise <laugh>

True like, he doesn't do enough. Some credit due for his long shots but not much comes from it in reality.

Yeah - that was the main reason I posted it. Strange really considering how his first few games went, he was diving into tackles and picking up red cards left right and centre. <laugh>

and seemingly banging in the goals from distance.. but he only got 4 in his first season, 2 last season and 3 this, but zero assists so far which is more telling.

grant has 4 goals and no assists
scowen has nowt & nowt
so maybe Winchester will replace the latter?

further up the pitch is more telling
Hume: 0 goals, 1 assist
O'Nien: 1 goal, 0 assists

Diamond: 1 goal, 2 assists (in 7)
McGeady: 1 goal, 1 assist (in 4)
Gooch: 2 goals, 4 assists
Maguire: 3 goals, 3 assists

Wyke: 7 goals, 0 assists
Grigg, Graham & O'Brien - ****ing nowt

Nisbet in the paper saying he’s flattered by are Interest, but it is won’t distract him in the window, and what ever happens, happens
