Aye, back in the old days all teams were reliant on scouts and then have them up for a trial maybe. The team with the best scouts generally had the better squad. It became self fulfilling. The team got better therefore better players played for them. Once the scouting network failed so did the team. I’ll guarantee that all the top teams will use all sorts of data now before deciding. Us on the other hand clearly didn’t.
