Maybe we need more clues on this - if anyone is still there. A well know singer who wore a ring given to him by a prince, but which had belonged to an Emperor. The Emperor was revered by some, and reviled by others. The singer is now dead, but nearly all of us have heard him at some time. The three little birds on my washing line might know the answer
You've got it Frenchie - it was the birds that gave it away In 1975 Marley was given a gold ring with the Lion of Judah engraved on it by Prince Afsa Wossen, who was the son of Haile Selassie - this fulfilled a dream which Marley had had eleven years earlier (but in which the giver was interpreted as having been his biological father). Over to you.
Thanks cologne. Seeing as the FA Cup is going on today, which goalkeeper broke his jaw in a final, but returned later in the game to play as an outfield member of the team?
please log in to view this image Ray Wood? he Manchester United goalkeeper had his jaw broken in the 1957 FA Cup final when Aston Villa's Peter McParland collided with him. There were no substitutes allowed back then, so Jackie Blanchflower went in goal while Wood was patched up - but the keeper soon came back on to play out the rest of the match. There was no happy ending, though: United lost 2-1
Anyone who used the internet will have accessed this..... another word for mud hut....and bright light......
