Cheers Frenchie. Whilst on the subject of national anthems - which European national anthem is acrostic ? ie. the first letters of each verse spell out a name when put together.
Over to you BB. Take the first letter of each verse and place them in a row and it spells out Willem Van Nassov (William of Nassau). Normally only the first and sixth verse are sung at official events - otherwise football teams would go to sleep It's also the oldest national anthem (from 1572).
