Rep. Jason Crow on CNN just now describing what it was like in the room. He said he asked other people in the room to remove their pins so as not to be identifiable. There were pictures of some people with bunches of zip ties so they were clearly prepared to take hostages. Then he said something that was utterly chilling:

“I had a pen in my pocket that I planned on using as a weapon and was looking around for other objects that could be used to defend myself and others”

Holy. ****ing. ****.

Yeah, what the **** was he going to do with a pen? Was it a James Bond pen, with a bullet in the barrel, or was he going to go all Joe Pesci in Casino?

Crow is a decorated US Army Ranger with a list of combat tours and service awards. He used his training to get others safe during the incident. I’m going to bet he does whatever the **** he wants with it to any one of those Y’all-Qaeda muppets.

Not sure if Chinese/Japanese racist stereotypes extend to the Koreans.
My Indonesian wife, pretty well fluent in English and Dutch trips over her pronunciations. Endearing, wouldn't want BBC received. When she comes out with "it ain't proppa" there's a laugh or two. Don't know where she picked that up.
