Going to firmly put my tin hat on here and say I hope he doesn't go. Seen enough in him to think there's a player in there - seems to be lacking confidence.

Of course, it doesn;t help that our fans get on his back when one of his fellow players (who everyone rates) takes a ball off you and it ends up in the net and all fans blame Dobson! Had a poor season this season (not alon in that) but looked OK at times last season. He's certainly no worse than Power who seems to avoid all flak on twitter etc. yet Dobson, who is only 23 and made a big step up to play for us, gets stick from all angles.

Apparently Walsall are interested

That should tell you everything you need to know about his ability.

last time out he actually looked a more confident player, i also think he has the makings of a decent player but as you say, seems shot of confidence...one thing for sure is him and power do not make a good team.

that said, i would not be against a move, may be best for both parties as we 'might' get a more confident/useful replacement.

Please explain that

Tbh, I'm open to anyone leaving. I don't think I'd class anyone who's currently playing as being indispensable. I love O'nien's attitude, but it's not like a host of championship clubs are beating our door down to sign him.

We need to be ruthless in our recruitment plans. Get rid of players who aren't performing and if we get promoted, we may need to ship players who did well previously, who won't make the step up.

Please explain that

allow me to help you out through your difficulty

You can throw Mumba in there as well for me. These lads always looked like a mid field in the making, but sadly never got a chance to prove it
While we've had likes of Power, Dobson and Scowen playing. Would've liked to have seen us with say, Leadbitter Robson Honeyman/Embleton as a midfield three. I know Leadbitter and Honeyman played together now and again but Grant wasn't with it early on.

I am more concerned with the Embleton situation tbh. look no further than a few miles South to see how wrong headed this club can be.
Take it you are referring to Watmore , people felt sorry for the lad because of his terrible luck with injuries , not many were shedding tears when he was released , he has become more cherished since he left as most fans thought he was never ever going to fulfill his potential. His luck seems to have changed and I am sure most SAFC fans are pleased for the lad .
