    I hope not...I think he’s a very good player.

Should have had more game time in the PL by now imo

Mauricio Pochettino is expected to try to sign a number of Tottenham players, including England midfielder Dele Alli, 24, and 34-year-old France goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, if the Argentine is confirmed as Paris-St Germain's next boss.

Dele is a possibility, what with us engineering his exit, although I doubt Hugo is given he's the same age as Keylor Navas and it's reasonably likely that one of the keepers they have out on loan will be stepping up next season

That smacks of the ultimate in lazy journalism - Poch ex Spurs so he must want Spurs players so who is currently of favour - Dele, and which player was Poch very close to - Hugo.

2 + 2 = 2 guesses as to players that he might like to bring in, no real substance pure guess work Alli to PSG was already on the table under the last manager, as for Hugo we will be in need of an upgrade/replacement sometime soon but not in January where if there is money it must go in midfield.

Can’t believe we’ve not started pre-contract negotiations with Messi yet.

Pfft, pull your finger out, Levy!

You do wonder what sort of editorial scrutiny goes into some of these rumours - The best English striker of his generation being sold to a direct rival by Daniel Levy for the figures being quoted - football 'journalists' are either thick or stupid or they believe the same of us the supporters!

    Not just that tbh...

    1. Kane has 3 1/2 years left on his contract so we are under no pressure to sell.

    2. Selling him would cause outrage from fans so they'd need to get a monumental amount of money in to rebuild.

    3. He has not kicked off so there is no pressure from there.

Imho I think he'll assess his and the clubs future in the summer and make a deal based on the following season.
He'll go in the summer of 2022 in my view.

Hypothetically, if Kane put in a transfer request in the Summer 2021, do you reckon you'd let him go as a sign of goodwill for all the years of service he's given you (even if it's at a slightly lower fee) or do you reckon Levy would play hardball and tell him he can only go if a club reaches their valuation of him (which would probably be around £150m)?

Obviously a lot depends on how Spurs progress and the situations at other clubs, but realistically, the only club I could potentially seeing him go to is Manchester City. And even then, they may not want to spend that much on him. If the rumour is true, then £90m for one of the top 3 strikers in the world, who has over 3 years left on his deal, won't even be considered. So how much more would they be willing to raise the price by? You never know with them.

It may be a situation where he's simply too expensive for other clubs to purchase, so he could end up staying with you regardless.

    There's the third option

He can go for £150m if an overseas club bids
He can go for £350m if a Premier League club bids

Frankly, if they wanted a HG Spurs striker for £90m, they can have Kaziah Sterling

If Kane demanded to leave he would have to do a Berbatov snd effectively go on strike to be sold this summer imho...and I honestly do not see that happening.
A more realistic scenario is him telling the club he wants to leave the following summer like Bale did in 2012.

The idea that we'd sell him to city for £90m this January is plain laughable.
City wouldn't get change from £200m imho...the English premium, the 3 and 1/2 years left on his contract, the response from spurs fans, their desperation to replace Aguero and the need to rebuild the team will ensure a massive transfer fee.

Citeh are a Sugga Daddy FC. New WHL has to be paid for.
Even a comatose Levy would rinse them for at least 150m.

Ok none of this will happen for so many reasons but hypothetically

would anyone be willing to sell Kane for enough money to buy us Haaland...assuming it was ever remotely possible.

like I said...never happening...Haaland to City for so many reasons seems the more likely of the 2 anyway but just putting the question out there
