Oh Right, We Loan Players Now Watch
FootballDotLondon report that Jack Clarke will be loaned next month

Turk Watch/CB Watch/Player Literally Everyone Is Bloody Linked With Watch
The Turkish wing of beIN Sport has linked us with Ozan Kabak, no doubt looking to take advantage of Schalke being Schite this season

If in doubt, assume this can go on the pile with the 23-man squad of Turkish players we've been linked with and didn't sign in the last 3-4 years

Clarke makes sense seeing as he didn’t get anywhere near the game time I thought he’d get in Europa. Just hopefully we find the right club this time. There’s definitely a top talent in there.

Not sure on Kabak. Not that he’s bad but just that do we need another young CB? We have Tanganga and Rodon. I’d rather someone who can be a guaranteed upgrade on Dier and Toby. Think Pool have been linked with him too so I’d make them favourites.

Basically everyone's linked with Kabak at the moment: us, Saltypool, Man Utd and Woolwich are brought up in every English article about him, and the usual suspects in Italy and Germany are linked too

One suspects Schalke would sell abroad, but that means he's as likely to wind up at Roma

Apparently we’re signing Ramos and Costa. Lol

bring Dele back into the fold.

with a bit of Lamela, Dier.

We could have a great team of assholes. Haha.

    Championship Rando Watch
The pathetic report we're looking at 19 year-old Reading attacking midfielder Michael Olise, who has an £8m release clause

He's certainly been in good form this season, with 4 goals and 7 assists already, and has flexibility as he can play as an AM, RW or LW so looks like another Eberiche Eze - although from the clips I've seen, the best way to describe him is to imagine if Dembele was a winger instead of a CM. On top of that, he's been on the books at Reading since 2016 he'll qualify as HG in a few years in spite his Frenchness, so the only potential issue is if Chelsea have a sell-on clause inserted into the deal that saw him join Reading a few years back

    Brazilian Rando Watch
The Pathetic also claim we're looking at Palmeiras winger Gabriel Veron, who can basically be described as an 18-year old Lucas Moura as he's rapid, has good control, and knows where the net is, with 3 goals and 1 assist in 15 Brazilian Serie A games, plus 3 goals and 1 assist across 7 Libertadores games

    There's two obvious issues, though
i.) Palmeiras are saying he'll only leave for a fee similar to the one that took Neymar to Barca, which would be £60m+
ii.) Gee, I wonder if there is something that happens in January which could make it a damn near impossible for any Premier League team to sign a Brazilian player who has only appeared for their U17 team which an American publication hasn't considered...

    Contradiction Watch
The Pathetic also claim that we won't be spending a single penny this winter, which begs the question why they're running stories about Sabitzer et al...

The phenomenally reliable source that is Don Balon says Eriksen would prefer a return to Spurs.

So I reckon he’ll be signing for PSG the moment January’s here.

If Pochettino does become PSG manager, then given how things
went in the final days period overlap with him and Eriksen, I suspect
that at best it would be on a half-season loan basis.

There was talk of PSG swapping Leandro Paredes for Eriksen a couple of days ago

If this happened, it would screw Arsenal twice: not only would Eriksen head to PSG, but Inter wouldn't have any need to sign Xhaka

In what parallel universe can anyone have a need to sign Xhaka?

    Sabitzer Watch
    According to...

    ...bugger, Turkish sources...

...and it's the same bloke who's linking us to Ozan Kabak...

    ...but I just got started...

...anyway, Ekrem Konur claims that Sabitzer has met with the Monster Energy Dusseldorf head brass and is interested in joining us

What hasn't been said is which Non HG player is heading out the door, of course

Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Vinicius seeing as Jose’s forgotten he exists.

But one of Lucas or Lamela would make this most sense.

Gazzaniga's the most likely candidate for the chop, considering he was dropped from the Europa squad

Anyway, here's a scenario that I haven't seen suggested anywhere, but makes a lot of sense: cash + Dele for Sabitzer

Monster Energy Dusseldorf still play 4231, with Sabitzer or Olmo usually playing there, so it's certainly feasible for Dele to go straight into their team which isn't the case for most Bundesliga/La Liga/Serie A/Ligue 1 teams as they play 433 or 4321, and there's a track record of English players doing well in the Bundesliga in recent years

Gazzaniga’s not in the Europa squad though so someone else would also need to leave/ be dropped if we intended to register Sabitzer for that should he join.

Guess it depends on what Leipzig want/ value Sabitzer at. Despite Dele’s form and position at Spurs, he may have more value in the market seeing as Sabitzer only has 18 months left on his deal. A straight swap I’d happily take, though if we offer cash too we’re probably doing ourselves over.

It's not that difficult at all, really: Dele leaving would create the spot for Sabitzer

In terms of HG balance, Sanchez out/Rodon in is the easiest fix

I notice the lower-tier blogs are now talking about a cash + player bid for Sabitzer

I given it until 2pm Wednesday before cash + Dele is brought up...
