Perhaps it's my blue-tinted specs at work, but was Chris Sutton that good at Celtic? I seem to remember him being one of their better players but far from a legend.

Obviously he's trying to punt a few copies of his book, but are their many Celtic fans that bothered about what he thinks?

Chris Sutton was far better than anyone who currently plays for either Celtic or Rangers.

What qualifies you do give us your opinion?

You haven't left your bolthole in months, you've not been to a football match in years, you don't even own a ****in telly.

Sutton was a decent player, slow as ****, but strong, but I'm sure he'd be the first to admit that he was average at best, probably on par with Lafferty.

Jela, Naismith and Davis are all head and shoulders above the paranoid Englander.

Anyway, he's only up here to hoover up Timothy's giro before heading back down to Norwich to buy a new tractor.

He did well at chelsea though. 3 goals he scored for them. £3.33 million a goal

    that's exactly what it is.
he's up in scotland promoting his book and he knows when and how to play the hate filled bigotry card that celtic fans love so much.
tell the celtic fans it was all the fault of rangers and they will rush to buy his book.

let's hope everybody connected with celtic believe all that nonsense as well, because as long as they believe it was nothing to do with lennon and the team on the park, then they will be quite happy to stumble on without fixing anything.

Of course he is selling a book and drumming up interest

Much like Novo, what's he famous for? Being **** and turning down Celtic

How many of you own a copy of his book?

Anyone who doesn't think Sutton was a good player is just being churlish.

Sutton was a cracking player for celtc. A complete cunt of a man but seemed to use that to his teams advantage on the park. He's no Jelavic mind you, and I hope he ends up suffering from the same bi-polar disfunction as his pal Lennon but there's no denying his footballing ability.

Great player ... and Celtic could do with him now - up front and at CB!

He worked well with Shearer and Larsson ...

But yes, a complete **** - a player you hate if they play for the opposition!

An average player playing in a decent Celtic side back then.

    Not a patch on Jelavic.
