Hodgson is a very intelligent manager and has had success throughout his career.

A poor spell with Liverpool and a disappointing England stint is what it is.

Overall Hodgson has had a terrific career.

He played for Carshalton Athletic back in the 70's, my family company are now a sponsor of the club, so have a soft spot for old Woy!

So are we going to win today. I have them in my acca which I never do. So it’s cast iron on that we will lose. You can all blame me.

My concern here is that Bruce will take the opportunity to play a couple of fringe players after the other night. That way he has a ready made excuse that "the players who came in had an opportunity and didn't take it".

I fully expect Andy Carroll to get on the pitch at some point because Bruce upset him the other day not putting him on against Leeds.

Sunday evening I fancied us to win today, however after a lacklustre display on Wednesday I have my doubts. possibly a drab 0-0 draw is possible. A couple of players to look out for who could cause you problems are 16 Tosin Adarabioyo, a centre back we bought from Man City for 2 mil this guy is brilliant and will surely play for England he is far superior to the overrated Harry Maguire. The other is Zambo Anguissa who is our most consistent player, If you let him run at you he will cause problems. There is a doubt over Mitro's participation , If he plays it will not be for 90 minutes he is short on confidence and his penalty miss against Scotland hit him hard, he and Cairney don't seem to fit in with our current style of play. From your point of view how are you going to set up bearing in mind that you have a tea time game on Tuesday. What will your risk averse manager do? Happy Christmas.!

Robinson also looks a good player for you

Not looking fwd to the selection..

Anyone expecting anything different from Bruce? I'm not he genuinely thinks he can't play 4 2 3 1 and he simply will never do it..

I actually don't mind a point tonight.. Its a better result for us than them, so I think we will see the usual non football.

Carroll will probably play, just for a laugh

He did suggest he's going to get a chance the other day...

I'm hoping to see Wilson almiron Fraser and Murphy/Joelinton, but it'll be the she ****e with hendrick on the right

Krafth is crap like but can't be putting Murphy there again. I'd probably rather play Yedlin and he's useless too

Manquillo hopefully, but otherwise Yedlin yes.,but I've learned enough about Bruce to know he's more about proving a point than doing the most sensible things
