It’s funny when the odd Mackem orc pops his head out of his pennywell doss house to try to poke fun at our PL club....whilst still smarting from his **** hole club’s inability to beat clubs who weren’t even in the league until recently.... Soon they will be able to count on one hand the 6 years they have been away from the PL...
He really is a bad manager isn't he... He's also full of **** which makes it worse.. He thinks he's a good manager that's his biggest problem because as long as he thinks he's doing thing well he's not going to change his thinking.
We are shocking .Got absolutely outplayed by Leeds and Fulham but Leeds up until our game were woeful and returned back to normal against Man Un.. Man Un 6-2, Chelsea 3-1, West Ham 2-1, C.Palace 4-1, Leicester 4-1. These are losing games since Beginning of Nov and we go and play defensive and get overran. ( What's new). What did all these managers see in Leeds that Bruce couldn't ?We rely on flukes because we just plod around in midfield with no closing down, aimlessly wandering about when we lose the ball , especially Shelvey, S.Longstaff and Joelinton. For all of our sakes, I plead for Bruce to resign and let someone with a bit of nous have a go or I can see us in bottom 3 by the end of Jan as well as out of the cups. Arsenal are p.ss poor but they will murder us even on their current form. Rant Over. Saw my first match as a nipper in 1955 but now falling out of love with current squad and Bruce especially. Hard as I love the Toon.
There have been some good games between the two of us. This was not one of them. You have two strikers with a combined value of 60mil and not one was able to lay a glove on our defence which comprised of two loanees and two [ Robinson and Adarabioyo] which cost 4 mil, you never looked like scoring from open play and when we were on the attack you couldn't wait to get ten men behind the ball - something I would never have imagined from the Newcastle of old. Bruce, by his negative tactics has sucked the life out of a side that, in the past, has always been entertaining. On a different subject, why did Almiron feel the need to go down clutching his face when the contact by Robinson was across the chest, unless it was in an attempt to get Robinson sent off.
Our two strikers are actually one (Wilson £18m) and the other (Joelinton £40m) is absolutely crap and Rafa didn't want him. We now know why. To be fair to Bruce we have had to play this **** brand of football for years because Mike Ashley had destroyed the club. Rafa did well to get us going and stay up but he had to do it in such a negative way that we got bored to death week in week out. Our sole aim each game is to NOT lose. Not to win! As evidenced in our game plan after the red card (which for me wasn't a penalty or a red card) This trait has carried on under Bruce who is to frightened to try and change things from Rafas building blocks. However its refreshing hearing your comments, seeing it for what it is which is goddamn awful however the media seem to the SB is doing a good job and we should love the work he is doing and enjoy this negative crap. GG
right, I want a 10,000 word essay on why............. by tomorrow morning no copy and paste ... and in your own words just so others might learn a thing or two
Utter ****e again. Not even worth going into. Same old same old. I'm sick of watching other teams play football basically
It was definitely a red card for the simple reason the player had already been booked and pulling a player back by his shirt, which he did , albeit outside the box. This usually gets a yellow. 2 yellows and your out. Never a straight red offence in my opinion.
Totally agree with your assessment, which begs the question why was a penalty awarded? was it [a] for an offence which started outside the penalty area and was perceived to have continued into the penalty area or for Wilsons 'dive' We know that Managers are contractually obliged to give post match interviews no matter how bland and platitude filled they may be. It surely time for referees to face the press and justify actions which need clarification, which leads to VAR. VAR was not introduced to referee games. It was introduced to offer guidance. Once VAR recommends that the on field ref views the monitor there is normally only one outcome, and that is the ref accepts the VAR recommendation -that is unless you are Andre Mariner who ,in his wisdom, ignored the VAR recommendation and to stick with his original decision which was clearly wrong which gave Liverpool a result they scarcely deserved
Andre Mariner is a Law unto himself but we have had worse Anthony Taylor referees who HE wants to he did not award a pen for this
