Why 3, Suarez had 8?

Suarez doubled down when called out though didn't he? Bit the hand that fed, as they say...

'Negrito' isn't a racist expression in Spanish btw. Definitely a misunderstanding there. Still, the sensible thing to do when you cause offense is apologise and stfu - which is exactly what Suarez didn't do.

Yes mate, he can play anywhere along the back line ... he's only 19 and will obviously make mistakes (and has been dropped straight into the deep end due to injuries) ... I really like him and think he will go very far ...

looked easily flustered when under a bit of pressure/getting his buttons pressed by more experienced players.

looked expensive against someone such as Godfrey, who I though was out MoTM, but he does have one season at relegation struggling Norwich to draw on.

If Cav is banned for 8 games, United will be able to use Mason Macheda to cover that.

Didn't Suarez admit saying it? Thought he just argued the meaning.

He did. He admitted saying it once (there was not one fart's worth of evidence he said it more than that, and in fact the only evidence they had of anyone saying anything was Evra starting the confrontation by telling Suarez, in Spanish, to **** his sister). The point was though that, according to the FA, the objective intent of the phrase is irrelevant - Suarez was hung because of it's subjective feeling by the recipient. That should have been a four match ban, no questions asked, of the tariff at the time. The rest was show trial grandstanding because they couldn't touch Terry.

So by the FA's standard it makes **** all difference what Cavani intended. It should though been taken into account the subjective feelings of the recipient. But as he posted it on social media, it depends on what the FA deem to be the recipient. Be ****ing insane if they push the boat out just to show how right-on they are though. This is as different to the Suarez case as you can get, imo.

An Everton fan liked to amuse himself by scaring anyone wearing a Liverpool shirt.

He would swerve his car as if to hit them, then swerve back to just miss them.

One day while driving along, he saw his local priest, so he pulled over and asked, "Where are you going, Father?"

"I'm on my way to give Mass." replied the priest.

"Climb in, Father. I'll give you a lift!"

The priest climbed into the passenger seat, and they continued down the road.

Suddenly, the driver saw a Liverpool supporter walking down the road. Instinctively he swerved as if to hit him, but this time but heard a loud thud.

He turned to the priest and said, "Sorry Father, I think I hit that Liverpool fan."

“No you didn’t” replied the priest... "I got him with the door."

Think the recipient was a friend:
