When Johnson was under pressure over his Covid record at PMQs today, he reverted to the old cop-out, claiming that he had 'followed the science at all times'. What does 'the science' have to say about the Christmas guidelines?
The Smarmy lawyer had nothing to say yet again! Boris (although he avoided a few bits) was spot on regarding Labours abstention on votes. Exactly what I said recently... If you abstain you have nothing to say after. When are we going to get a proper opposition? Ashworth'less' today was again embarrassing. Milibland was laughable on the Marr show. That awful irrelavent woman (who's name slips my mind) was also hopeless discussing Christmas on SkyNews. Just another poor attempt by Labour and it's social media minions to play politics.
At least you aren’t talking about politics. Have lawyers really been demonised by our far right government that much that it’s become an insult?
You need to go back on the politics thread Watford and explain why you dislike everything about this country.
I think I explained it rather well. Anyway I’m listening to Vera Lynn and planning out my Brexit rations.
Come on Watford everyone knows you dislike this country. You also know there will be a deal. Forget all the charades from both sides. However Firstly we must sort out the Chinese disease. I hear the WHO have finally been granted access into Wuhan to conduct an investigation (sadly they weren't allowed in previously due to the 'clean up'). Hopefully we can find out where this originated (as if we don't know already) and make sure it doesn't happen again until the next... rat, dog,bat eating festival.
As a patriot I really loathe this. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/12/17/world/europe/britain-covid-contracts.html
To save time, the response of “but it’s just as bad/worse in country X or Y or Z” or “they are bad so how dare they criticise us” or along those lines, is simply a diversionary tactic, it is not an actual defence or justification of the behaviour of these scum*. * in my opinion.
EU Scrambles to Buy Pfizer Vaccine After Declining Earlier Deal The EU has decided to buy up to 100 million more doses of Pfizer and BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine after turning down an opportunity in July for a much bigger deal for 500 million doses, according to EU officials and an internal document seen by Reuters. Panicking European Commission officials are now racing to reverse that calamitous decision. Unexpected delays in clinical trials are forcing the EU to rely on shots from Pfizer/BioNTech, the first Covid-19 vaccine to be approved in Britain and subsequently the US, which frustratingly for EU states still has not been approved in the EU. Even so the European Commission decided yesterday to buy up to 100 million additional doses. The virus has already killed 470,000 Europeans. The British media was quick to criticise Kate Bingham‘s nimble procurement efforts and keen to allege conflicts of interest arising from her industry experience. In retrospect she did a brilliant job. Yet not a word has Guido seen in the British press about the lives lost as a result of the complete shambles that has been EU procurement, of first PPE and now vaccines…
Burnham needs to stop crying and sort out the lack of compliance in GM. Easy to moan about others....less easy to sort out your own issues Even the guy on the front desk in my hotel wasn't wearing a mask
