Fulham have stated getting results and play proper football

Looking at the next month of fixtures I think nufc will be on 17 points still until mid January and right in the thick of the relegation battle.

1-2 Fulham.

Remember everyone thinking we'd play

4 2 3 1 with Almiron max Fraser and Wilson?

Nope

We get Joelinton and Wilson with Fraser in cm... :emoticon-0119-puke:

I think Bruce will set up to take a point I can't wait to hear the fans acting like he should try and win with the group of players he's got at his disposal

Should be going for it. We won't, it'll be negative stay in the game football as usual. He is well capable of nicking a 2-1 win but with their form, them being a bit more expansive, I'll go the other way for a deserved 2-1 for them. The deserved for trying to play football as it should be played.

Should be going for it? At full strength yes, but last night he had litterally nothing at his disposal... Wilson that's it... The rest of that side were championship players.

A point for us is a good result and they need a win... If we lose we get sucked rift in the relegation mix, so I'd be happy with the negative approach in this one..

Lost me there... I'm assuming shelvey and almiron will start, but Bruce simply will not play max almiron and Fraser /Joelinton... He simply won't ever do it.

Id like to see this at our fwd line and if no max play Fraser instead...

Wilson
Max Joe miggy

3-1 = Jim, or did I miss a forum meeting?

Agreed that is the strongest line up, one we haven't managed to put out once yet this season 12 games in.

I have no idea ref the Jim thing.

Bruce could have but he feels
We'd be too weak defensively... Is he right? Well he's just never going to try it, so he can't ever be wrong

If I was Bruce I'd be going 4-1-4-1 with all of ASM, Miggy, Fraser and Joelinton behind Wilson with Hayden sweeping up in front of the back 4.

Bruce will come up with something weird S usual.... He does the strangest things and perhaps that's why sometimes it works?

We are at home against a side who will finish low down. Regardless of availability we should be going for it, and we certainly had enough available last night to be having a go at other poor sides. Its a moot point though, because Brucey will be playing stay in the game again.

It's a strange one but I actually think it's almost the opposite. Bruce is so basic he uses a throw back to a 1990's 442 or Rafas 5-4-1 that these players know well. I think the problem is he isn't being weird enough. Football moves on incredibly quickly, quicker than most realise. My concern is that Bruce is doing what he knows and that is ancient history in football terms. It's strange that Hodgson at Palace seems more up with the times than Brucey and can play a high pressing game when I'd suggest we have a better front 4 than Palace.
