Have to say i am glad. Gives a few players a chance to get back fit and they are on an unbelievable run
i wrote the info down in the first half, amazing only a few read the info but go over and over again on the same subject isolation lasts till boxing day and there is f...all the EFL can do
fresh for Hull lol we are crap, finished no matter how bad Hull are we will be worse. This is the governments fault they knew after swine flu this could happen but did nowt let these people bring any disease they like into our country.
no. My point was more at this being a serious situation. You don’t get just 8 people needing to self isolate without their being a wider issue.
We have more than enough players to go to Shrewsbury and beat them ... ... if the available players aren't good enough we shouldn't have them at the club. Time for them all to prove their right to be there.
Saturday I agree. But to lose 8 the day of a game killed any momentum last night. We were poor and, to be honest, when the news broke I expected that. Tough to have to change that many that quickly. But he has a bit of time to train them as a team before Saturday. So many lauded McFadzean on Saturday and he was very good. Yet last night he was a different player. Might be those around him. Maybe Flanagan (??? Scary thought!)
i think a lot will depend on if more test positive, the club now needs to know if those so far isolated have mixed outside of 'club hours' as well. if they have all only mixed while training/travelling/playing then the EFL really should have no option to impose sanctions and for health and safety reasons our next 2 or 3 games should be called off, depending on more positive cases.
